Digos City Barangay Captain Shot During Facebook Live

DIGOS CITY — Barangay Captain Oscar “Dodong” Bucol Jr. of Tres de Mayo, Digos City was shot by an unidentified assailant inside his home while conducting a Facebook Live broadcast on the evening of November 25, 2025.

Footage from the live stream shows that prior to the shooting, a wallet was handed over to the captain’s residence, with a call to the owner to claim it.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
