The people of ZAMPEN have spoken. With the conclusion of the 2025 local elections, three newly elected governors are now set to lead the provinces of the Zamboanga Peninsula, bringing with them the promise of progress, accountability, and responsive governance.

In Zamboanga del Sur, Governor-elect Divina Grace Yu will assume the helm of the province. A seasoned public servant, Yu is expected to champion policies focused on good governance, economic development, and the welfare of Zambosurians.

Zamboanga del Norte will be under the leadership of Governor-elect Darel Dexter Uy, who is anticipated to continue programs aimed at infrastructure growth, social services, and strengthening peace and order across the province.

Meanwhile, Governor Ann Hofer of Zamboanga Sibugay retains her position, bringing continuity to her administration's thrust on health services, education, and sustainable development.

As chief executives of their respective provinces, these leaders are expected to enforce laws, manage provincial budgets, supervise local government offices, ensure peace and security, promote development initiatives, and lead disaster response operations.

Their election signals a renewed mandate and hope for the ZAMPEN region as citizens look forward to a future marked by unity, resilience, and progress under their stewardship.
