Two Individuals Killed in Shooting Incident in Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur; One Injured

DIMATALING, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR — A mother and her child were killed, while another individual was injured in a shooting incident perpetrated by an unidentified assailant on the morning of June 14, 2025, in Barangay Kagawasan.

According to initial reports from authorities, the victims were on their way to attend church in the neighboring town of Pitogo when they were suddenly gunned down.

Local police are currently conducting a thorough investigation to determine the motive and identify the person responsible for the crime.
