MISAMIS ORIENTAL – A 20-year-old third-year nursing student from Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte, was found lifeless along the shoreline of Purok 14, Manticao, Misamis Oriental at around 6:15 AM on July 11, 2025

The victim was identified as Clowie Suzene Villaester Jenon, a student of St. Michael’s College in Iligan City and a temporary resident of Barangay Luinab.

Chief Master Sergeant Wendel Romulo of the Philippine Coast Guard positively identified Jenon's body during an on-site verification at the scene of the incident.

According to Police Chief Master Sergeant Roel Limocon, investigator at the Manticao Municipal Police Station, the victim was last seen around 10:00 PM on July 10 boarding a motorcycle. She was reportedly seen later disembarking and allegedly jumping off the Agus Bridge in Barangay Maria Cristina, Iligan City.

Her body was discovered floating approximately 150 meters from the shoreline by a local fisherman, Fernan Ramirez.

An initial examination conducted at Manticao Provincial Hospital revealed no signs of physical struggle, trauma, or external injuries on the victim’s body.

Jenon’s remains were brought to Galeon Funeral Homes in Manticao, while authorities continue their investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the incident.
