MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has directed the continuation of aid and deployment of medical teams to communities affected by Super Typhoon Uwan.

Following the typhoon’s landfall in Dinalungan, Aurora, on Sunday night, the President immediately coordinated with government agencies to ensure uninterrupted relief operations.

The DSWD was instructed to maintain the delivery of assistance to all affected families, while the DOH is deploying medical teams to evacuation centers. The DPWH has begun clearing and repairing damaged roads to facilitate relief distribution.

President Marcos also ordered agencies to monitor weather updates closely and sustain rehabilitation efforts in typhoon-hit areas, emphasizing that the safety and welfare of affected communities remain the government’s top priority.
