Acting Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., assured the public that operations will continue without letup to arrest all individuals with outstanding warrants of arrest linked to the alleged irregularities in government flood-control projects.

Authorities earlier disclosed that 16 individuals were issued arrest warrants, with nine already apprehended, while seven including Zaldy Co remain the focus of PNP tracker teams.

Of those still at large, three have been confirmed to be in the Philippines, while the rest are believed to be overseas.

In an ambush interview at Camp Crame, Nartatez emphasized that the PNP is working closely with local and international law enforcement agencies to locate and apprehend the remaining suspects.

He expressed confidence that the fugitives will be arrested soon, noting that multiple tracker teams are actively deployed to pursue the ongoing manhunt.
