PNP REPORTS GENERALLY PEACEFUL OBSERVANCE OF UNDAS 2025

The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported a generally peaceful nationwide observance of Undas 2025, with no major incidents recorded.

PNP Acting Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. credited the success to the deployment of over 50,000 police personnel and strong coordination with other government agencies.

Following President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive, the PNP noted a drop in common crimes such as theft and physical injury compared to last year.

Nartatez said the Undas security strategy will serve as a model for their operations during the upcoming Christmas season.
