QUEZON CITY, Philippines — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has distributed ₱7,466,707.69 in cash rewards to 31 civilian informants nationwide under its Operation: Private Eye (OPE) program on March 23, 2026.

Six informants received their incentives at the PDEA National Office, while others were awarded in regional offices. Their identities remain confidential for security reasons.

According to PDEA, the informants’ tips led to 33 major anti-drug operations, resulting in the seizure of illegal drugs and the arrest of high-value targets. The top informant received ₱1.83 million for information that led to the confiscation of nearly 25 kilograms of shabu and the arrest of three suspects in Quezon province.

PDEA Director General Isagani R. Nerez emphasized the vital role of citizens in combating illegal drugs and urged the public to report suspicious activities through the OPE hotline at 0917-867-7332.
