More than 37,257 families, equivalent to over 181,000 individuals, have been affected by the combined effects of the southwest monsoon (habagat) and Typhoon Jacinto, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

The affected population comes from several regions, including CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol, Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

As of the latest report, around 2,000 individuals remain housed in 11 evacuation centers across the impacted areas.

Meanwhile, 65 areas in BARMM remain submerged due to heavy rains, with government agencies continuing to provide relief and assistance to affected communities.
