Over 1,000 Individuals Affected, One Missing Due to Typhoon Mirasol

Over 1,000 people were affected, one reported missing, and several roads and bridges left impassable as Typhoon Mirasol struck parts of Luzon.

At least 233 families, or around 1,003 individuals, have been affected by Typhoon Mirasol, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

The affected population was recorded across 16 barangays in the regions of Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and Bicol.

Of this number, 57 families or 171 individuals are currently staying in designated evacuation centers for temporary shelter and assistance.

The NDRRMC also reported one person missing in the Bicol Region, while four roads and 12 bridges, mostly located in Cagayan Valley, remain impassable to motorists due to the impact of the storm.
