Groundbreaking Ceremony Kicks Off Construction of NHA Region IX–BARMM Multi-Purpose Covered Court in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY – The groundbreaking ceremony for the National Housing Authority (NHA) Region IX and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Multi-Purpose Covered Court was held at the regional office located in Barangay Balintawak, this city.

The event was led by Regional Director Engr. Al Khwarizmi Indanan, represented by Officer-in-Charge Engr. Jessa Consuegra, together with NHA personnel. Also present were representatives from the local government, including Pagadian City Mayor Sammy Co, represented by Chief of Staff Audrey Basas Cabato, and Engr. Nellie Sisona, head of the Pagadian Regional Center Management and Coordinating Office.

In her message, Cabato conveyed the mayor’s commitment to addressing the needs of the Regional Government Center, ensuring the swift completion of the project so that it can be utilized promptly for various activities of the employees.

The facility is expected to provide significant benefits to the community, particularly in hosting sports, cultural events, and other activities of the NHA Regional Office IX in the Zamboanga Peninsula.
