The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is calling on the public to actively participate in monitoring local infrastructure projects across the country by using its SubayBAYAN online platform.

The platform provides real-time, accessible data on over 80,000 infrastructure projects, enabling transparency and accountability in the implementation of both local and national initiatives.

In his recent State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. emphasized the importance of transparency in the use of public funds, particularly in projects related to flood control and disaster resilience. SubayBAYAN responds to this call by offering the public a tool to track government expenditures and project status.

Currently, SubayBAYAN monitors more than 34,000 local government unit (LGU)-funded projects and over 50,000 nationally funded projects, including the construction of roads, bridges, water systems, multipurpose buildings, and evacuation centers.

The platform also features a built-in feedback system and a complete audit trail, allowing users to report issues, submit comments, and follow the progress of ongoing government projects.

The DILG encourages citizens to visit https://subaybayan.dilg.gov.ph and take an active role in ensuring that every peso spent contributes to meaningful and impactful public service.
