Department of Budget and Management Approves ₱3.39-Billion bonus for PNP Personnel

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has approved ₱3.39 billion in Performance-Based Bonuses for over 225,000 Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel in recognition of their service and dedication.

According to Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, the incentive acknowledges the daily sacrifices of police officers who risk their lives to maintain peace and order.

Qualified PNP members will receive a bonus equivalent to 45.5% of their monthly salary, based on their 2023 performance. The fund will come from the Miscellaneous Personnel Benefits Fund under the 2025 General Appropriations Act.

Pangandaman said the initiative fulfills President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to uplift the morale and welfare of public servants, especially those ensuring national security.
