“No Merry Christmas”: Marcos Vows Jail Time for Those Behind Flood Control Anomalies

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has vowed that individuals involved in the alleged anomalous flood control projects will be behind bars before Christmas.

In a press conference held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, the President gave a stern warning to those implicated, saying, “They will not have a merry Christmas. Before Christmas, they will be jailed.”

Marcos emphasized that his administration will not tolerate corruption, particularly in infrastructure projects funded by public money. He added that investigations are ongoing to ensure accountability and that all responsible officials will face the full force of the law.

The President’s statement comes amid heightened scrutiny over alleged irregularities in several flood control projects across the country.
